Dream Home

I made it to the Hash run in Banks yesterday evening (after a long bus journey), to find out that it was a Birthday run for a hashing one-year-old, Jack. He seemed quite happy about everything once he'd finished his first drink, and got stuck into the
fairy bread. Banks is quite a new-looking suburb, and will forever live in my memory as the land of the double garage - I mentioned this to a work colleague and he confirmed that, as it is quite a way out from the centre, it tends to be an area where people buy a plot of land to build their dream home. Judging by the houses there everyone had much the same dream, and nobody had a dream that didn't involve at least two cars. Out for lunch today to celebrate the conclusion of my efforts in Canberra, and then flying back to Sydney this evening - hopefully in time to make today's run in Sydney. Apparently, there may be some form of presentation at the end of the run to wish us well with the baby but, if I know the people involved, it's just as likely to be a slab of VB. Chris
