Guess who's back
I've been meaning to post an update about this for a little while but keep forgetting: Like most students, when I was at Warwick I spent a good proportion of my time watching Neighbours - not just once but, the same episode, twice a day. At that time, one of the central characters was Paul Robinson, who was cast as equal portions of good and evil - I can still hear Graham saying "Oh, he's all right is Paul!" now. Like all good Australian soap actors, he left the show to release a single and enter the Pantomime circuit in the UK. However, the cliff-hanger episode at the end of last year here in Australia had the Lassiters pub bursting into fire and an unidentified, dressed-in-black character portrayed as the arsonist. As the characters escaped/got caught in the inferno, who should show up dressed in a black turtleneck sweater but, Paul Robinson! Fantastic, another excuse to re-live all those University memories when the show starts again, after its Christmas break, next week ;-) Chrisposted at 9:49 am
How sad, watching the episodes twice! At least I only watch each episode of EE once, and I even answer the phone while it's on (although there is always a tape ready in the VCR). Here's some reciprocal antipodean spoiling by telling you that there is a gay marriage of one of the PC's on The Bill. And the next series to hit our screens in a few minutes time is the much talked about US offering "Desperate Housewives", you might already have had a screening. Its all a far cry from Dixon of Dock Green and The Groves.

... oh, yes, and if you don't know what the last two programmes are, try looking at http://www.whirligig-tv.co.uk/ (I'm not clever enough to know how to hide the URL under some text)
You will remember though Chris, that the only reason we used to say that Paul was alright was to wind Sarah up...and she bit every time too ;-)
