Baby-sitting != Sport-watching
With an almost unlimited selection of sport to keep me entertained, it was the perfect weekend for Anna to get out-and-about while I was baby-sitting:
- Anna was out on Friday night with a few of the girls from our local running club - I watched the footy.
- On Saturday, while Anna was preparing for her mothers dinner, I was watching the Lions game, which started off promisingly, but (in hindsight) I was grateful that Caitlin then became unsettled, as I missed most of the remaining mawling that New Zealand inflicted.
- Once Caitlin had settled, I watched some of the cricket, which looked destined for an easy Australian victory when we went to bed - but turned into an amazing draw.
However, things other than sport did apparently take place, including:
- The ninth of the twelve apostles crumbled into the sea.
- Predictably, having had the sunroof on the car fixed, the weekend saw an end to a week of rain and some welcome sunshine.
Anna is on the first day of her graphic design course today, and our friend Sally is nannying, so we'll see how Caitlin takes to having someone else in charge.
