Hell Unleashed?
As I was making my way to the airport for a flight down to Canberra early yesterday morning, there was a warning on the radio suggesting that there might be a big storm coming towards Sydney. Although this article may have overstated things a little, there were a number of airplanes that received some damage from large hailstones; so I guess I timed my trip well. I guess it must be related to the climate, but we do seem to get quite a few big lightning storms every summer in Sydney, and a number of people have commented to me that the storms seem to be that much more dramatic than they have seen elsewhere.
